Publisher details

The publisher’s name, legal form, address and e-mail are available at onlinebookiesnz.com, so that anyone with a question or complaint can reach it.

Nature of the site

Onlinebookiesnz informs; it does not bet. No bets are taken, no customer accounts are kept, no money is received, and readers are not brokered to any bookmaker. Forecasts guaranteeing a win are not published.

Lawful betting in New Zealand

TAB NZ alone may lawfully offer racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand, as it has since 28 June 2025 under section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020, through TAB and Betcha. The Department of Internal Affairs supervises compliance. Overseas bookmakers are unlicensed here, there being no licence to apply for. The age for betting with TAB NZ is 18.

The articles are prepared and reviewed with care, though odds, markets and offer terms keep moving, so a provider’s own present terms decide. No responsibility is accepted for decisions based on the pages. Misleading conduct in trade is forbidden by the Fair Trading Act 1986, and the writing keeps to that. External links were checked when added; their later content belongs to their owners, and a link to unlawful material is removed once reported.

Texts, tables and graphics fall under the Copyright Act 1994. Use going further than fair dealing needs written consent from the editors beforehand.

Gambling harm

Betting carries a risk of harm. The Gambling Helpline and Safer Gambling Aotearoa are available to anyone who spots signs of excessive gambling in themselves or a close person. Deposit limits, bet limits and self-exclusion are described by TAB NZ on its own pages.
